The Canadian government sanctioned 34 Iranian individuals and organizations for violating human rights. Among the Revolutionary Guards(IRGC), Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, were included in the sanctions list.
