ICHR strongly condemns the election of Ebrahim Raisi as President as he holds a high record of gross human rights violations and mass execution of dissidents, and he should be prosecuted for crime against humanity. No title absolves him of his crimes, Not even presidency.
The election of Raisi, the ally of Khamenei, for presidency, in an undemocratic and unfair process, guaranties the continuation and new wave of persecution and repression of dissent domestically, and a return to a more killings and dark ages internationally, as he has Committed Major Number Of The Most Outrageous, Shameful, and inhuman crimes against humanity.

Ardeshire Zarezadeh added; Throughout his authorities he Has Carried Out the highest number of Reported Executions, Has ordered imprisonments, torture, and killing of dissent, minorities, human rights activists, political activists, lawyers, and protesters in prisons and the streets. Has Committed Crime Of Murdering since the 1980s to the 2009Elections, the protests of December2017, November2019, and a big responsible hand for the deliberate firing of two IRGC missiles at a Ukrainian airliner which to this day have claimed the lives of millions of Iranians by using live ammunition, Has been a member of the ‘death commission’ which forcibly disappeared and extrajudicially executed in secret thousands of political dissidents in Evin and Gohardasht prisons near Tehran in 1988. The circumstances surrounding the fate of the victims and the whereabouts of their bodies are, to this day, systematically concealed by the Iranian authorities. Amounting to an ongoing crimes against humanity.”

That been said; In solidarity with people of Iran and rule of law ICHR continues to stand for Justice and strongly condemn Ebrahim Raisi for presidency, and demand his immediate prosecution for the past crimes as well as ongoing crimes in the international court of Justice and security council for accountability and Justice.
ICHR Strongly Condemns Iran’s Election Under The Dictatorial, Undemocratic, Anti_Humanity Regime Of The Islamic Republic, Which Every Candidate Up For Presidency Have Committed Major Number Of The Most Outrageous, Shameful, and inhuman, Human Rights Violations.
We urge the U.N, E.U state members, and the international community to jointly take serious actions to address the crisis of systematic impunity in Iran, including bring the government of Islamic Republic to the International Criminal Court and the UN Security Council in pursuit for accountability and Justice for victims of violence, suppression, terror and human rights violation committed by President elect Raisi and Supreme Leader himself.
