ICHR Strongly Condemns the 25-Yr Iran-China Agreement, which have been implemented for the purpose of restricting, oppressing, people and increasingly widening the reign of dictatorship, by destroying national wealth and increasing poverty.
We also strongly call on Canada and other democratic countries to take serious firm action to null the agreement by making the two governments to refrain.
The signing of 25-Yr Iran-China Agreement has generated strong widespread reaction among Iranians, many of whom took to protest in social media and the streets of Iran objecting the signing as its plundering of country’s resources as well as brutally violating people’s rights by taking their rights to be informed of major national decisions that would impact their lives for many years to come.
The fact that the government of Iran has not disclosed any information about the agreement, can only mean conspiracy. Under Article 153 of Iran’s Constitution, which states, “Any form of agreement resulting in foreign control over the natural resources, economy, army, or culture of the country, as well as other aspects of the national life, is forbidden.”
The government of Iran must put the people’s well being before their decisions about people. This regime came to be little over 40 years ago on promise to free oil, water and electricity, for Iranians, and Today, instead of making good on their promise, they have made poverty and suffering for Iranians.
“The agreement was signed under secrecy and surrounded by conspiracy which is yet another systematic attack on the people of Iran, just the same way that the government attacked 176 innocents by firing two missiles at the Ukrainian flight PS752 in January 2020 murdering all passengers, and in November19 the government attack peaceful protesters killing over 1500.” Said; Ardeshir Zarezadeh, ICHR director.
“The signing of the agreement opens opportunities for the two governments of Iran and China that have committed at most Heinous violation of human rights, to increasingly continue their rampant discriminations, illegal imprisonments, kidnappings, abductions, hostage taking, poverty, rape, murders, torture, at most of executions, as well as terrorist acts inside and outside each country, thus; terribly increasing their dictatorial ruling.” Added; Ardeshir Zarezadeh, ICHR director.
The international committees must press for justice for people of Iran, and immediately take serious action to make sure both governments will refrain from the agreements. As well as pressing the governments to listen to the people’s demands and keep the well being of the people in mind before their decisions about them.
The people of Iran are already suffering from poverty, outrageous suppression, and reign of systemic human rights violations by the regime.
“As Iranian Canadians we demand from the Canadian government to show its support and solidarity with the people of Iran and call on the government of Iran and China to null the 25-Yr Agreement, as it’s a road to more poverty and human rights violations under graver reign of dictatorship.”Said; Daryanaz Shirinkam, Communication Director at ICHR.
Canada is home to many Iranians whom some have been murdered and arbitrarily detained in Iranian prisons. Which should make Iran more of an interest to the Canadian government as per what’s happening in Iran.
ICHR Strongly Calls on the United Nations to condemn and take serious actions to immediately null the 25-Yr Iran-China Agreement, which have been implemented for the purpose of restricting, oppressing, people and increasingly widening their reign of dictatorship, by destroying national wealth and increasing poverty.
