ICHR strongly calls on Iran’s government to abide the international human rights laws that require to ensure that lawyers are able to carry out their functions without intimidation, and harassment. That been said they must immediately remove the “General Office for Supervision of Lawyers”.

The Judiciary of the Islamic Republic has announced an “General Office for Supervision of Lawyers” that will be enforced. They have issued a new directive that will monitor the conduct of lawyers in terms of obeying Islamic standards, force hijab, Submitted to Velayat-e-Faqih and the Islamic Republic in courts and cyberspace.

The international human rights laws require governments to ensure that lawyers are able to carry out their functions without intimidation, and harassment.

Instead of abiding by the international human right laws the state is greatly increasing the policies that discriminates and violates the human rights of people specially Women in an  extreme manner.

The Islamic Republic wants to create filtering among lawyers in order to force them to represent the Islamic Republic itself and its anti-people policies and repressions, not to represent the truth! And yet they are bravely standing up for rights despite the harassments, prosecutions, outrageous policies and sentences.

The Islamic Republic Government has continuously executed widespread systematic employment, education, and social discrimination, relentless violence, Political Repression against people but more extreme for the women. Specially the lawyers, activists and protesters.

ICHR strongly condemns the Iranian government for violence and organized crime against women.  And calls for the condemnation of the Islamic Republic in the International Court of Justice with the case of criminal activity and misogyny.
