ICHR Strongly stands in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan, and condemns the violations, war, and the killings in Kabul. The United Nations must take more immediate and firm actions to end the attacks on the civilians, and condemn the guilty in the international courts.

November 21st, the 23 rockets that hit different parts of Kabul city, left 8 dead and 31 wounded.  The rocket attack was organized from four areas in Kabul city and the missiles were fired mainly at residential areas.

The Afghan Ministry of Health has also stated that the death toll from the missile strikes is not final and that there is a possibility of an increase in the number of dead and wounded.

Violence and armed crime have escalated in the recent months since the peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban. Recently, the Islamic groups have attacked Kabul University, killing and wounding hundreds of students.

US and Afghan government officials are saying the Taliban is seeking to gain concessions during the peace talks by escalating the violence.

The people of Afghanistan who consider the Taliban and all Islamic forces a terrorist and anti-human force. Called the peace talk of Afghan government and Taliban appeasement from the terrorist forces and they are tired of all this violence and crimes.

The People, especially the youth, students and women of Afghanistan, have protested many times using hashtag #به_طالبان_باج_ندهید (don’t give ransom to Taleban), One of the hot hashtags of Tweeter fallowing the protests.
