ICHR strongly condemns the government of Iran for their use of violence and deadly forces on people of Iran protesting, and the government must be held accountable for the killings and their crimes against the Iranian people.

As the Iran’s united protests are continuing the government of Iran is getting more aggressive and violence, in order to silence the protesters.

Since the protests have began the government has sent threatening messages, disconnected the internet to leave the protesters incommunicado, and they have tear gassed, assaulted, and use open fire to the protesters.

More than 100 people have been reported killed and thousands more injured. Just from Kurdistan alone 30 protesters have been killed and over 200 injured.

Iranian officials have responded to the peoples chants demanding political, economic, and social reforms by sending in security forces that have use violence and deadly means to silence demonstrations.

“The government of Iran must put the people’s well being before their decisions about people.

This regime came to be 40 years ago on promise to free oil, water and electricity, for Iranians, and Today, instead of making good on their promise, they have made poverty and suffering free for Iranians.” Said; Ardeshire Zarezadeh, Executive Director for Iran, and The Middle East at ICHR Canada.
