Country: Iran
ICHR strongly condemns the government of Iran for Criminalizing women for not choosing hijab, and they must End their extreme form of gender discrimination and all type of cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment that profoundly damages women’s human dignity.
In Iran, for over 40 years the Islamic Republic Government has continuously executed widespread tactical and systematic human rights violations both inside and outside of the country.
The people of Iran specially the women, children, workers, teachers, students, LGBs, and sexual, ethnic and religious minorities, as well as the Muslims are not immune from the suppression, crimes, and the human rights violations of the regime.
Basically the dictator government of Iran decides what qualifies as human rights, and if anyone try’s to speak up, or as simple as raising awareness towards the violations, the government shuts them up by threatening, torturing, Sentencing, and death.
The government if Iran must answer for all the outrageous execution rates, unlawful persecution of human rights defenders, the crackdown discrimination against women, and minorities, as well as the ongoing crimes against humanity,” Said; Ardeshire Zarezadeh, Executive Director for Iran, and The Middle East at ICHR Canada.
